VETERAN EMPLOYMENT SUCCESS CELEBRATED The nation's top veteran and partner employers, employees and entrepreneurs have been celebrated tonight at the annual Prime Minister's National Veterans' Employment Awards. Finding meaningful employment after serving in the Australian Defence Force (ADF) can be one of the biggest challenges veterans face when transitioning to civilian life. The annual Awards showcase the impressive talents of the Australian veteran community, as both employees and entrepreneurs, while celebrating the civilian organisations that actively employ and support veterans and their families. Competition was fierce, with nine winners from a record number of 165 nominations. The annual awards complement the Albanese Government's game changing Veteran Employment Program, a new approach to supporting veterans into the civilian workforce. |
