Police appeal for information after Mildura aggravated carjacking

Mildura Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for assistance after an aggravated carjacking in Mildura Monday afternoon.

Investigators have been told a man laid down on Seventh Street near Walnut Avenue forcing the victim to stop his car about 3.30pm on 7 February.

Once the victim stopped, a second man armed with a knife dragged the victim out of his car and both men fled the area in the victim's car.

The car is described as a 2008 black Proton sedan, ZMK149 and is still outstanding.

Police have released images of the stolen car in the hope someone recognises the car and has information on its location.
