Police are responding to fatal crash - Ashendon

Major Crash Investigators are seeking information to assist with their investigation into a fatal traffic crash that occurred on Friday 30 October 2020 in Ashendon.

About 2:55pm, a gold Mitsubishi Magna sedan was travelling north on Albany Highway when near Honey Myrtle Road the Magna veered to the right and struck a number of trees.

The driver and sole occupant, a 25-year-old man, was pulled from the vehicle by members of the public before the vehicle caught fire.

The driver received critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene.

Major Crash Investigators would like to speak to anyone who saw the crash, or saw the Mitsubishi Magna driving travelling in the area just prior to the crash.
