Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Yabba North this afternoon.
Investigators believe a car was travelling along the Katandra Main Road about 1pm when the driver lost control.
The car left the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver and only occupant of the car, believed to be a woman in her 70s, died at the scene.
