Police arrest man after Salisbury North fire, South Australia

A man has been arrested after allegedly starting a small fire at a house in Salisbury North today.

About 10.45am on Monday 8 June, police and MFS crews were called to a house in Combine Avenue after reports of a small fire in the kitchen.

The fire was extinguished by other residents at the house, and no one was injured.

Following investigations, an occupant of the house, a 51-year-old man, was arrested and charged with property damage by fire. He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date.
