Police arrest man over Seaford Meadows sexual assault, South Australia

Detectives from the Special Crimes Investigation Section, part of SAPOL's Public Protection Branch, have this morning arrested a man following the alleged sexual assault of a woman at Seaford Meadows last weekend.

Police will allege the 47-year-old man broke into a Seaford Meadows home in the early hours of Saturday 16 November, sexually assaulted the female occupant and stole personal items from the house.

Police investigations led to the arrest of the man at a Seaford Meadows house this morning.

He has been charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and attempt rape and theft.

The arrested man will be refused police and is expected to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court later today.
