Police investigate suspicious tattoo parlour fire at Blacktown

Police are appealing for information as inquiries continue into an arson attack at a tattoo parlour in Sydney's west overnight.

About 1.30am (Tuesday 22 June 2021), emergency services were called to a tattoo parlour on Sunnyholt Road, Blacktown following reports of a fire.

On arrival officers found the premises, including an adjoining toilet, alight.

NSW Fire and Rescue extinguished the flames and a crime scene was established and forensically examined.

The business sustained minimal damage, and no one was injured.

Investigators are treating the fire as suspicious and are asking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious between 1.10am and 1.20am on Tuesday 22 June 2021 on Sunnyholt Road at Blacktown between First Avenue and Humphries Lane, to contact Blacktown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
