Northern Territory Police have arrested two men in relation to separate domestic violence offences over the weekend.
Police will alleged that a woman received multiple threats of violence and suffered injuries as a result of being assaulted by her partner over a substantive period.
A 37-year-old man was arrested on Saturday, for his alleged involvement. He was charged with multiple counts of breach domestic violence orders, aggravated assault and threats to kill.
On Sunday afternoon, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received information of a distressed woman being forced into a vehicle in Palmerston.
Police were deployed to the area however, the vehicle had since left the location. Enquiries into the incident lead police to a residence in Woodroffe, where they located the woman. A 28-year-old man was arrested and since been charged with breach DVO.
Detective Senior Sergeant Justin Bentley from the Domestic and Family Violence Unit said "Any form of violence is unacceptable. Police have a zero tolerance for domestic and family violence and will work around the clock if necessary to protect victims of this.
