Police and emergency services are currently at the scene of a fatal car crash in Edenhope.
It is believed the car was travelling west along the Wimmera Highway near Grub Lane when it veered off the road about 3.30am.
The vehicle crashed into a tree before bursting into flames.
The driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be determined at this stage.
