Police responding to fatal traffic crash at Warwick 14 September

A man has died after a three-vehicle traffic crash in Warwick this afternoon.

Preliminary inquiries indicate around 3.55pm a Ford Falcon utility vehicle has travelled through the intersection of Myall Avenue and Wood Street and stuck a Porsche travelling along Wood Street.

As a result of the collision the Porsche has overturned and struck a Commodore sedan, travelling west of Wood Street.

Sadly, the 76-year-old driver of the Porsche has died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The 77-year-old passenger of the vehicle was seriously injured and was airlifted to Brisbane for further treatment.

The driver of the commodore received first aid at the scene.

The 21-year-old driver of the utility vehicle has been hospitalised and is assisting police with their inquiries.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
