Police responding to serious traffic crash at Robina 10 December

Police are appealing for any witnesses or dashcam to a serious traffic crash between a motorbike and a utility at Robina on Thursday, December 8.

Around 6.40pm a motorbike was travelling west on Collyer Quays approaching Lido Promenade when a Ford Courier vehicle commenced a right hand turn into Lido Promenade carpark and a collision occurred.

The 57-year-old male rider from Gilston sustained serious leg injuries and was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital for treatment.

The 39-year-old male driver of the utility from Surfers Paradise was not physically injured in the crash.

Police investigations are ongoing.
