Northern Territory Police are calling for witnesses following an assault on a 27-year-old woman in Ludmilla overnight.
At around 3:45am, police received a report that a female had been assaulted at a residence by a male offender, who had fled the scene.
The woman suffered serious injuries. Police provided first aid before St John Ambulance arrived and she was conveyed to Royal Darwin Hospital.
Police are searching for the offender and investigations are ongoing.
