Police seek witnesses to Werribee crash

Westgate Highway Patrol members are appealing for witnesses after a 29-year-old was located deceased in his car following a crash in Werribee on Tuesday night.

The Tarneit man was driving along Hoppers Lane when his 2008 black BMW left the road and crashed into a number of street signs before coming to a stop near the Princes Highway about 10.40pm.

Despite the efforts of witnesses and emergency services, the man could not be revived.

Police will prepare a report for the coroner.

Westgate Highway Patrol members would like to speak to any witnesses that have not already spoken with authorities or anyone with dash cam or CCTV footage.
