Prevalence of autism spectrum disorder among children, adolescents in US

About The Study: Researchers estimated the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) among children and adolescents in the United States to be 3.14% in 2019 and 2020 overall. Nationally representative data collected from household interviews indicated that 410 of 12,554 children and adolescents included in the survey were reported to have a diagnosis of ASD, with a higher prevalence in boys than in girls.
