About the project

C-REX is a cross-disciplinary center for the study of right-wing extremism, hate crime and political violence, and is now looking to hire three research assistants to update the Right-Wing Terrorism and Violence in Western Europe (RTV) dataset for 2023. The RTV dataset covers terrorism and violence in 18 West European countries between 1990 and 2022, and registers all severe attacks and plots whose target selection is premised on right-wing beliefs.

A comprehensive description of the methodology is available in the RTV codebook. Research assistants will work jointly in a team led by the RTV team manager at C-REX. Some work is expected to be carried out at C-REX, UiO, but it is also possible to work from home
