Associate Professor Seyed Soheil Mansouri, DTU Chemical Engineering, is among the recipients of HPC's Innovation Excellence Award 2025. The award recognises the project "Agentic AI for Biomanufacturing Optimization Using Hybrid Quantum–Classical HPC Systems", developed in collaboration between DTU, ORCA Computing, SiC Systems, and Novo Nordisk.
The project aims to make biomanufacturing processes more stable and efficient. The research team has developed a platform that uses artificial intelligence together with both traditional and quantum-based supercomputers. This combination allows early detection of small deviations in production processes, helping to improve quality and reduce waste.
The award was presented at the SC25 supercomputing conference, where Hyperion Research announced this year's winners.
