Council will begin road safety improvement works around St Mary's Catholic College and St Gerard Majella Primary School in Woree on Monday 15 June.
During school term, the works will take place between 9am and 3pm. From 29 June, during school holidays, the works will be done from 7am to 5pm, and are expected to be completed in the first week of July.
Safety improvements will be made to the pedestrian crossing and existing bus stops, and asphalt will be overlaid on the southern side of Anderson Rd, from Des Chambers Drive to Windarra Street.
The new configuration will provide additional car parking in Anderson Rd.
During works, traffic delays may be experienced. There will also be temporary disruptions to property access.
Businesses and residents are asked not to leave vehicles parked in the street during the time of scheduled works.
