Road Safety Works Begin Across Manningham

Manningham Council

Construction has started on the first of 11 road safety projects being delivered across Manningham through the Victorian Government's Safe Local Roads and Streets Program. The projects are part of a $2 million investment in local road safety improvements.

The first project, at the intersection of Beauty Gully Road and Harris Gully Road in Warrandyte, will make the intersection safer and easier to use. The improvements will encourage lower vehicle speeds, improve visibility for drivers and make it easier to navigate the intersection safely, helping to reduce the risk of crashes.

We've also planned construction timing for several safety improvements on school travel routes during the September - October school holidays to help minimise disruption for school communities.

These include works on Egan Drive in Bulleen, Rosella Street in Doncaster East and Serpells Road in Templestowe.

Residents, schools and road users will receive advance notice ahead of works at each location.
