Secretary of Defense Travel to California and Hawaii

Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III will depart September 28 to visit California and Hawaii. In California he will meet with Sailors and Marines at Naval Base Point Loma and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, respectively, and in Hawaii, he will meet with some of our key allies in the Indo Pacific. He will also visit Red Hill Bulk Fuel Storage Facility, and meet with Rear Admiral John Wade, who is the commander in charge of the Joint Task Force responsible for safely and expeditiously defueling the facility.
