Serious motorbike crash, Morningside

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious single-vehicle motorbike crash at Morningside, in Brisbane's south, last night, June 26.

Initial investigations indicate around 11:45pm, emergency services were called to Richmond Rd, near Ayr Street, following reports of a motorbike colliding with a brick fence.

The rider of the motorbike, a 31-year-old Alderley man, was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and is appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have dashcam/CCTV of the area around that time, to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
