Renowned street artist Stormie Mills' first solo exhibition at a State gallery All the secrets are buried between the oceans and the mountains will open to the public tomorrow.
This landmark exhibition, at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, presents a selection of Mills' art from across his career alongside new art, including two 12-metre-long paintings, one referencing the oceans and the other the mountains.
Mills' latest body of work also includes a series of portraits depicting friends, collaborators and influential figures from the international street art community, among them the legendary American artist Futura.
Stormie Mills started painting in 1984 and has played a pivotal role in shaping Australian street art. His public art can be found all over Perth and Fremantle, including a public mural at the Wellington Street freeway underpass.
All the secrets are buried between the oceans and the mountains runs until 8 November 2026 at the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
As stated by Creative Industries Minister Simone McGurk:

"His personal story and his ability to storytell through his art has made him one of the most influential figures in the street art community.
"This exhibition presents a selection of Mills' work from across his career alongside a new body of work, including two 12-metre-long paintings.
"Stormie Mills has played a pivotal role in advancing street art and helping shift public perception from underground graffiti to a respected and influential movement."
