Investigations are underway to determine the cause of a structure fire this morning at a warehouse in Dennis Court, Berrimah.
The fire was reported to 000 around 10:30am, with police, St John NT and fire crews from Darwin and Berrimah Fire Stations responding. Power and Water also attended and isolated electricity supply.
Fire Watch Commander Craig Slack said, "On arrival, there was thick black smoke billowing from the building. Firefighters forced entry and quickly brought the fire under control, rescuing a dog from the building. Luckily there were no other occupants inside.
"The building sustained moderate damage and investigators are now looking into the cause."
