Theft of mail in Point Cook

Werribee Police have released images of a man following the theft of mail from a Point Cook residence last month.

Investigators have been told the unknown man drove to the Beatrix Street home in a red Holden Commodore utility about 11.30am on Friday 26 June.

The man parked in the driveway before getting out and taking the parcel.

He then left in the utility, which was displaying false registration plates, UCE 206.

Detectives have released CCTV images of a man who they believe can assist with their enquiries.

He is perceived to be Caucasian in appearance with short brown hair and wearing a black jacket, black tracksuit pants and white sneakers.
