- United Cup 2026 draw sees mixed teams from USA, Italy and Japan lead the line-up for Perth leg of tournament

Some of the world's best tennis players will unite in WA this summer to compete at the United Cup, which returns to Perth in January 2026.
The United Cup Official Draw was live streamed around the world today, revealing which countries will be playing across host cities Perth and Sydney when the action kicks off on Friday, 2 January 2026.
In huge news for WA, Team USA will be taking to the court at RAC Arena, led by men's world No. 6 Taylor Fritz and women's world No. 3 Coco Gauff.
Four-time Grand Slam champion and former world No.1 Naomi Osaka returns for Japan, world No. 8 Jasmine Paolini suits up for Italy and fan favourite Stefanos Tsitsipas will be representing Greece.
Additionally, Perth will also host top-ranked players from Great Britain, Switzerland, France and Spain over the six-day tournament.
Supported by the Cook Government through Tourism WA, the tournament consists of 18 countries competing in singles and mixed-doubles ties with Perth hosting the prestigious opening day of play.
Perth will also host two quarterfinal matches on Wednesday, 7 January, with the United Cup Final taking place in Sydney on Sunday, 11 January 2026.
Adding to the atmosphere, a vibrant fan zone will be activated outside RAC Arena, featuring activities for all ages, including interactive tennis games and pop-up experiences.
Perth has hosted the United Cup for the past three years, attracting out-of-state visitors and injecting millions into the local economy. In 2026, the city will host the tournament for a fourth consecutive year.
The United Cup is another example of the Cook Government's economic diversification strategy to attract a year-round events calendar to drive out-of-state visitation, support jobs and generate valuable tourism dollars for local business and industry.
