USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman to Visit Pakistan, India, G20

On June 6-9, USAID Deputy Administrator Isobel Coleman will travel to Pakistan to underscore the United States' commitment to its more than 75 year partnership with Pakistan, and to highlight U.S. efforts to support Pakistan's flood relief and recovery efforts. The Deputy Administrator will visit flood-affected areas in Sindh, where she will meet with impacted communities. In Islamabad, she will meet with Pakistani officials to discuss flood recovery pathways, infectious diseases, global health security, malnutrition, and the nexus of climate change and health as the lead of the U.S. delegation at the U.S.-Pakistan Health Dialogue.

On June 9-14, Deputy Administrator Coleman will travel to India to meet with a range of partners and stakeholders in USAID's joint efforts with the Government of India to expand women's economic empowerment, advance climate action, bridge the gender digital divide, and improve health outcomes.

In Varanasi, Deputy Administrator Coleman will lead the U.S. delegation to the Group of 20 (G20) Development Ministers Meeting, where she will reinforce the U.S. government's commitment to partnerships and collective actions that advance women's empowerment, women-led development, localization, climate action, and the use of data in development.
