Witness appeal for Bulla fatal collision

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses for a fatal collision that killed a man and woman in Bulla yesterday afternoon.

Police and emergency services were called to Sunbury Road about 3.20pm for a head on crash between an SUV and a blue Holden Cruz sedan.

A 69-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, both from Baynton who were occupants of the SUV, died at the scene.

The driver of the Holden Cruz, a 22-year-old Melton West man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and remains in hospital.

The investigation remains ongoing.
