Currently, a PhD position within the ACHILLES program is announced at Karolinska Institutet.
As a PhD student in the European ACHILLES-network, you will be part of a dynamic, international team. ACHILLES will train 16 Doctoral candidates with the objectives to A) develop advanced experimental models, B) gain new insights in the mechanisms of leukemia and lymphoma biology and C) develop and validate new therapies for the treatment of hematologic malignancies.
ACHILLES will bring together European leaders in the fields of immunotherapy, functional genomics, chromatin regulation, AI, and leukemia/lymphoma. You will undertake your own research project at Karolinska Institutet (DC8), investigating the genetic and epigenetic drivers of Myelofibrosis (MF) progression to AML using advanced sequencing and CRISPR technologies, with the ultimate goal of developing targeted therapies to block disease progression.
To broaden your expertise, you will also complete internships at other ACHILLES partner organizations.
