Appeal after lewd act on Sydney bus - Police Transport Command

Investigators have released CCTV images as part of investigations into a lewd act on a bus in Sydney's CBD earlier this year.

Just after 10.30pm on Wednesday 6 January 2021, a man boarded the 426 bus at Martin Place, and walked towards the back before sitting down.

He exposed himself before performing a sexual act in view of nearby passengers.

The man got off the bus at Central Station about 10.45pm.

The incident was reported to police and officers from the Police Transport Command North Central commenced an investigation into the matter.

Investigators have now released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their inquiries.

The man depicted is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged in his 30s, about 180cm tall, of medium build.

He is shown wearing a white cap, glasses, and blue face mask, along with a maroon hooded jumper, beige pants and green shoes.
