JAMA Network

About The Study: In this study of 482,000 children and adolescents, no association was found between state laws limiting dose or duration, or both, in opioid prescriptions and the receipt of opioid prescriptions among children and adolescents. Alternative strategies, such as opioid prescribing guidelines tailored to youths, are needed.
