Building damaged by fire at Bowral

Emergency services remain at the scene of a building fire at Bowral.

About 9pm (Thursday 1 July 2021), emergency services were called to a Bong Bong Street, Bowral, following reports of a fire.

Officers from The Hume Police District, Fire and Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and found a building well alight.

The blaze was extinguished and there were no reports of any injuries.

Bong Bong Street is closed between Merrigang Street and Boolwey Street and will be for some time.

Local police and fire crews remain at the scene and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the fire.

Inquiries are continuing.
