  • Casa Juventus announced as the first of four official fan houses for the upcoming Italian Football Festival in August
  • Ice Cream Factory to be transformed into an immersive Juventus experience
  • Fan houses to complement the free Little Italy Festival outside Optus Stadium
  • Third and final game to be played at HBF Park, adding to the experience for fans
  • Part of the Cook Government's economic diversification strategy, supporting tourism

Football fans will be able to step inside the world of Juventus when Perth's Ice Cream Factory is transformed into Casa Juventus as part of the upcoming Football Festival.

Running from Wednesday, 5 August to Tuesday, 11 August, Casa Juventus will be the first of four official fan houses created for the Australian exclusive event.

Details of the remaining three official fan houses will be announced in the coming days, as excitement builds ahead of AC Milan, Inter Milan, Juventus and Palermo arriving in Perth.

The official fan house - delivered by Juventus - will transform the Ice Cream Factory into a supporter hub, with plans for a range of fan-focused experiences, club content, activations, food and beverage, and opportunities for supporters to connect across the event period

Founded in 1897, Juventus is Italy's most decorated football club and has an estimated global supporter base of more than 561 million people.

The fan house is all part of the city activation, that will coincide with the three big blockbuster games, including Juventus v Inter - Italian football's national rivalry and one of the great fixtures of world football, shaped by more than a century of competition and some of the biggest names in the global game.

The Football Festival will feature three blockbuster matches:

  • AC Milan v Inter, Wednesday, 5 August
  • Juventus v Inter, Saturday, 8 August
  • Juventus v Palermo, Tuesday, 11 August

The third game of the International Football Festival between Juventus and Palermo is now scheduled to be played at HBF Park. Ticket holders have been contacted directly, and the broader program remains unchanged.

The change was always an option as part of bringing this major event to Western Australia, following the success of the sold-out AC Milan fixture at HBF Park last year and the Matildas' Asian Cup Quarter-Final earlier this year.

By holding the third game at HBF Park, fans will also be able to see these quality teams at our purpose-built rectangular stadium, giving them the ultimate football experience closer to the action and helping manage Optus Stadium with five events across a busy 10 days.

The three matches in August will be accompanied by a range of free community events including the Little Italy Festival outside Optus Stadium, open training sessions and a curated panel discussion with some of the legends of the game.

The Australian exclusive festival is supported by the Cook Labor Government and forms part of Western Australia's Winter of Unmissable Sport.

As stated by Acting Sport and Recreation Minister John Carey:

"Casa Juventus will give Perth and interstate fans a place to come together in the heart of our city, show their colours and soak up the atmosphere during their stay.

"This is only the first of four official fan houses, and there is plenty more to come as we build towards a huge week of football in Western Australia."

As stated by Acting Tourism Minister Dr Tony Buti:

"Casa Juventus will add another dimension to the Italian Football Festival and give visiting and local fans even more ways to be part of the excitement beyond the matches.

"These fan houses will help create an incredible atmosphere across Perth and encourage visitors to make a week of it, supporting our hotels, restaurants, bars and local businesses.

"With four of the world's most famous football clubs and their passionate supporters coming to Western Australia, this is another opportunity to showcase Perth as a world class major events destination.

"Major events like Calcio Italiano are an important part of our economic diversification strategy, attracting visitors to our State and supporting local tourism and hospitality jobs."
