Charges following Brunswick firearms incident

Police have charged a man following an alleged firearms incident in Brunswick in July, Victoria Police say.

The 87-year-old Taylors Lakes man allegedly discharged a firearm at a woman in Colebrook Street on 21 July.

He has been charged with attempted murder, conduct endangering life, conduct endangering serious injury, stalking, unlawful assault and firearms offences.

The man remains in hospital recovering from injuries sustained after the incident.

He has been bailed to appear in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 16 November 2017.
