CHOP's Philly Spin-In Raises $1.1M for Cardiac Center

On Sunday, March 12, hundreds of patient families, friends, clinicians, donors, and sponsors rode for little hearts at the seventh annual Philly Spin-In benefiting Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's (CHOP) Cardiac Center. The fun and heart-pumping event took place at Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia with sessions led by the city's hottest cycling instructors and participants were able to ride in person or support virtually at home through a live-streamed option.

Since its inception over the last six years, the Philly Spin-In has raised more than $3.3 million and this year the funding surpassed $1.1 million (and counting!) which will provide breakthrough patient care, treatment and research, impacting the lives of children with heart disease, both here in the local community and around the world, for years to come.

CHOP's Cardiac Center team is one of the largest and most accomplished in the world - with more than 125 experts, including pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, critical care intensivists, pediatric cardiac anesthesiologists, advanced practice nurses and physician assistants. These experts are pioneers in the treatment of congenital and acquired heart conditions, and international leaders in diagnosis, patient care, research and education.
