Road Closures
Canowindra
Notice is hereby given that Cabonne Council will close Gaskill Street, From Ryall to Blatchford Street, for the purpose of the Canowindra Christmas Shopping Night.
This closure will be in place on Friday, 24 November 2023 from 3pm until 10pm, and a detour route will be available via Ryall Street and Blatchford Street.
Molong
Cabonne Councill will also close Bank Street, from Watson Street to Edward Street; and the Bank Street and Gidley Street intersection to accommodate the Molong Christmas Shopping Night.
This closure will be in place on Friday, 1 December 2023 from 3pm until 10pm.
Please ensure you move your vehicle out of the event area before the closure times. Vehicle movements will not be permitted during the road closure times.
Suspension of alcohol-free zones
Canowindra
Cabonne Council will suspend the alcohol-free zone for Gaskill Street, including road reserve/footpath for the Canowindra Christmas Shopping Night taking place on Friday, 24 November 2023.
Molong
Cabonne Council will also suspend the alcohol-free zone in Bank Street, Molong, including road reserve/footpath, and the alcohol prohibited zone over the Molong Village Green for the Molong Christmas Shopping Night taking place on Friday, 1 December 2023.
This is to allow licensing for the selling and consumption of alcohol during the hours of 5pm to 9pm
