Those spending time along the Yarra around Dights Falls may notice works underway at the viewing platform at the flour mill.
Yarra is undertaking works on the turbine house structure forming part of the heritage-listed Dights Mill site, a former flour mill located near Dights Falls in Abbotsford.
The works involve the replacement of the viewing platform, installation of compliant universal access and safety barriers, and general repairs to the structure.
The works will provide improved viewing of the historically significant water turbines within the structure.
The works are anticipated to be completed by late November.
