Police are investigating a suspicious fire at Blair Athol.
About 1.14am today (Monday 28 June), police and fire crews were called to a house in Marmion Avenue after reports that a suspect had smashed a front window and placed an accelerant inside the house. He then lit the substance, causing damage to the front area of the house.
The male occupant escaped the blaze and was not injured.
Witnesses reported seeing a man wearing a motorcycle helmet running away from the house towards Prospect Road. They later heard a motorcycle speed away from the area.
