Emergency crews responding to house fire at Edwardstown 4 July, South Australia

Police are investigating a house fire at Edwardstown this evening.

Police and fire crews responded to reports of a fire at Maxwell Avenue, Edwardstown at 8.30pm on Sunday 4 July.

Fire crews managed to prevent the fire from spreading to neighbouring premises and extinguished the blaze, however, it caused significant damage to the property.

There were no reported injuries.

Fire cause investigators will attend and examine the scene overnight.
