Hearing Services Program Review - Consultation paper call for submissions

The review into the Hearing Services Program was announced by the Hon Mark Coulton, Minister for Regional Health, Regional Communications and Local Government in August 2020 is underway. It is being led by an independent panel headed by Professor Mike Woods as Chair, and Dr Zena Burgess.

The review seeks to identify opportunities to modernise the program and ensure it has a strong consumer focus.

The panel would like hear your views on how the program can be approved for the benefit of all Australians.

The Hearing Services Program Review Consultation Paper was released on Friday 30 October 2020 to prompt discussion around key areas that could inform the program's modernisation. The paper can be found on the Consultation Hub website.

The final report will be provided to the Minister at the end of July 2021.
