Is this your paddle craft? Pumicestone Passage

Police are appealing for public information following the discovery of an abandoned paddle craft, floating at the southern end of Pumicestone Passage (Bribie Island) this morning.

The discovery was made shortly after 8:45am, near Buckleys Hole, with initial fears that someone could have fallen off.

The craft had no items or personal property on it when it was located but police would like to try and locate the owner to eliminate the possibility that an accident that has occurred.

The craft is approximately 3m x 1m, white in colour and constructed of fibreglass.

A SARMAP has indicated it has most likely come off the beach at Bongaree.
