Major Collision Unit investigate San Remo collision

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding a collision in San Remo yesterday afternoon.

A 28-year-old Cowes man was interviewed and released pending further enquiries after a six-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle the man was driving on Marine Parade about 4.35pm.

The boy remains in hospital in a stable condition with serious injuries.
