Motorcyclist crashes after police pursuit - Cabramatta

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with minor injuries after crashing his bike into a car in Cabramatta tonight.

About 9.30pm (Friday 30 October 2020), officers from South West Metropolitan Traffic and Highway Patrol attempted to stop a motorbike that was travelling eastbound on the Hume Highway, near Longfield Street, when it sped away.

Moments later, the motorbike collided with a car at a roundabout of Longfield Street and Vale Road, Cabramatta.

The 50-year-old rider was arrested and taken to Liverpool Hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

Inquiries continue by officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command.
