Nedlands fatal crash

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Nedlands today, June 5 2021.

Around 3.15pm, a Transperth bus travelling east on Stirling Highway, collided with a pedestrian on Stirling Highway near the junction with Meriwa Street.

Passers-by and St John Ambulance paramedics performed CPR at the scene and the pedestrian, a 48-year-old woman, was conveyed to Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital where she died of her injuries.
