Newman fatal crash

Major Crash officers are investigating a fatal crash that occurred last night, Sunday 4 October 2020 in Newman.

Around 11.45pm, a gold Nissan Patrol four-wheel-drive vehicle towing a trailer was travelling south along Great Northern Highway when it left the road and rolled near Marble Bar Road.

A one-year-old child who was a passenger in the vehicle received critical injuries and died a short time later at Newman Hospital.

The 31-year-old female driver and two male passengers (an adult and child) were not injured.
