The Northern Territory is today reporting the death of a woman in her 90s with COVID-19.
The woman was from Greater Darwin, had underlying health conditions and passed away at home.
The total number of COVID-19 related deaths recorded in the NT since the start of the pandemic is 58.
There were 205 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in the NT in the 24 hours to 4pm on 9 August 2022.
There are currently 33 patients in hospital. There are four patients requiring oxygen and two patients are in ICU.
The number of active cases in the NT is 1,489.
