This year's Careers Information Day will take place on 8 November 2025 from 09:00 to 15:00 in the foyer of the Central Library (building 04.7) on the main campus of Forschungszentrum Jülich. Secondary school students, parents, and teachers are invited to come along and learn about the wide range of training opportunities at Jülich.
Through vivid demonstrations, active participation in some areas, explanations, and discussions with trainees and trainers, visitors are introduced to what is taught in the various scientific, commercial, technical apprenticeships, and dual study programmes. Numerous trainees act as contact persons for the school pupils. Information is also provided about the various internship opportunities.
Forschungszentrum Jülich offers up to 100 training places in 22 different professions and 5 dual study programmes.
Online registration for the event is possible until 3 November 2025. The event can also be attended spontaneously, without prior registration. However, this will result in longer waiting times at the entrance, as missing personal data will have to be recorded on site by the property security service staff.
