Pedestrian struck by train at Unley Park, South Australia

Police are investigating after a person was struck by a train at Unley Park this morning.

Emergency services rushed to the pedestrian crossing on the Belair line, near Rutland Avenue, north of Cross Road just before 10.15am on Friday 27 November.

The boom gates on Cross Road are lowered and Cross Road is closed to traffic in both directions between Goodwood Road and Unley Road.

Train services are not running between Adelaide Railway Station and Mitcham while emergency services remain at the scene. Services are still operating between Mitcham and Belair.
