Police appeal to locate man missing from Central Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from the Central Coast.

Petrus "Peter" Van Nierop, aged 70, was last seen leaving a home in Empire Bay Drive, Kincumber, yesterday (Wednesday 7 October 2020).

After family and friends could not get in contact with him, he was reported missing to officers from Brisbane Water Police District, who have commenced an investigation.

Mr Van Nierop is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 160-165cm tall, of a medium build, with blue eyes, and grey hair with a grey beard and moustache.

He is known to frequent the Kincumber area.

Police and his family hold serious concerns for his welfare and urge anyone who sees Mr Van Nierop to come forward.
