Police arrest man over West Lakes servo robbery, South Australia

A man has been arrested over a service station robbery at West Lakes last month.

It will be alleged the man entered the service station on the corner of Frederick Road and West Lakes Boulevard just after 2.20am on Wednesday 13 May, threatened staff and stole cash from the till.

Thankfully no one was physically injured during the incident.

As part of the investigation, detectives released CCTV images of the suspect and were greatly assisted by information provided by the public.

Yesterday morning, Thursday 18 June, Western District CIB detectives attended a West Lakes home with a search warrant.

A 25-year-old West Lakes man was arrested and charged with aggravated robbery. He was bailed to appear in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 22 July.
