Police charge man after St Kilda assault

Port Phillip Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged a man following an alleged serious assault at an outdoor dining venue in St Kilda earlier this month.

The 30-year-old man was arrested this morning following an investigation into the incident that occurred on 12 November.

He has been charged with one count of affray, two counts of intentionally cause injury and two counts of recklessly cause injury.

The St Kilda man was bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on 14 January 2021.
