Police charge man over Campbelltown stabbing

A man will face court today charged over a stabbing in Sydney's south-west last month.

About 10am on Sunday 18 October 2020 a 35-year-old man was stabbed during an argument with another man at a motel on Queen Street, Campbelltown. At the time officers from Campbelltown Police Area Command were contacted and attended the location where investigations were commenced.

About 3pm yesterday (Thursday 5 November 2020) detectives attended a home in Currans Hill where a 35-year-old man was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.

He was charged with malicious wounding with intent to murder. He's been refused bail to appear at Campbelltown Court today (Friday 6 November 2020).
